These are special works created in collaboration with Jenn Ravenna and TokyoMTG.

These special prints are made and embellished by Jenn herself, and is a Limited edition print of which only 9 were created.

The scene painted on the card is very important in Magic's rich storyline and revolves around the character Nicol Bolas being reborn. This style of art is quite rare on Magic cards and evokes the plane of Kamigawa and its story. Although the card was colored on release, the original is created as a black and white painting, these prints maintain that art style as close as possible.

This piece has a silver and glossy finish that compliments the special print.

In addition, brush textures are added using advanced printing technology to bring to life the feeling of an original painting.

Using special paper from Japan, the feeling of the plane Kamigawa is evoked in the finishing touches of the piece.

While maintining the splendor of the original work, embellishment is added to make Nicol Bolas stand out.

The retouching is done by the artist herself, using a brush, by hand, much like the original art.

The piece not only shows the cultural ties to Kamigawa, but also the cultural background of Jenn herself.

Jenn herself has cultural roots in Asia, and Japanese culture can be found in various pieces by her.

The Eldest Reborn was Jenn's first Magic illustration, and was an amazing entry into the game we all love. These pieces were originally created for the TokyoMTG Art Show held in January, 2020. When she originally planned to come to Japan, it was to create a movie (https://jennravennatran.com/andthenfilm) and we were happy to support her in this endeavor.

Along with that, Jenn also participated in the TokyoMTG Art Show. She's an artist that has made a splash in Magic as well as participating in other endeavors, and we're so excited to see what the future holds!
